Da Vinci – ROBOTIC ASSISTED SURGERY – (Da Vinci Xi model) The Da Vinci system is the most used robotic system over the world. It consists of three components – the surgeon’s console, a patient cart, and the vision cart. All of these components work together to allow the surgeon to view what is happening and then mimics the moments to guide the instruments.
Da Vinci for general laparoscopic surgery (minimally invasive surgery of the abdomen or pelvis with the use of a camera) One primary difference between traditional laparoscopic surgery and robotic-assisted surgery is the degree to which the tools can be manipulated. This is due to the higher level of range of motion and increase in the dexterity of movement that can be attained using robotic technology.
Mainly used for:
- GENERAL LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY
- COLORECTAL SURGERY
- UROLOGIC SURGERY
- GYNAECOLOGIC SURGERY
- THORACIC SURGERY
- HEAD & NECH SURGERY
