Dato’ Pretam is formerly the President of the Tribunal for Home Buyers Claims. His practice is highly regarded and recognised by major developers and is placed on the “Panel of Lawyers” of several developers, bankers, final institutions and government linked companies (GLCs).

Dato’ Pretam also offers advisory services in housing development such as application of Housing Developer’s License, Advertising and Sales Permit, opening and operating of Housing Developers’ Account under Housing Developers (Project Account) Regulation 1991 and obtaining relevant exemption variations and waivers from the Ministry of Urban Wellbeing Housing & Local Government.

Datuk Pretam is a lawyer by profession, has previously worked as Senior Federal Counsel, Deputy Public Prosecutor with the Attorney General’s Chambers and legal advisor to several government departments and agencies. He is currently the partner in a legal firm. Leveraging his vast knowledge and decades of experience and knowledge, he contributes articles to local and international journals, besides delivering lectures and talks in relevant forums.
